Obsessively watching weather radar, studying moon and sunrise locations, plus using astronomy apps at an amateur level; take up alot of my time.
Canadian wild fire smoke has been inline with the jet streams of air that flows into several American cities all Spring long.
Just about the time I was losing my patience on the bridge, the full, Strawberry Moon started to become visible. It was a vibrant red when first appearing but wasn't quite lined up to where I liked it.
Once the moon was at this level, I broke out the old manual 105mm lens and started firing away. I chose this photo as the keeper from that night.
