Even though sightings of the Northern Lights have been more common in recent years, don't be fooled, it's called Northern Lights "chasing" for a reason. The "chasing" community relies on eachother for accurate reports, whether on the ground or in space. And then if everything lines up, the photographer has to come up with an interesting composition on the fly. To capture them on my home turf is always more exciting and I'll never forget this night when the pillars started to form and colors were becoming visible to the naked eye. Captured 11-12-25
