Chicago Lighthouse during a smoky Sunset

Opted for a sunset cruise on our last trip to Chicago and for days the suspense was thick. Would it rain or storm and get the cruise cancelled? Would the smoke from Canadian wildfires completely blot out the sky?

It did rain but the cruise wasn't cancelled, obviously. The smoke levels in the sky were heavy which actually added to the mood, in my opinion.

As soon as we rounded the lighthouse and I took the shot I just knew it was "the one".
